Close Encounters Helsinki – St. Petersburg is a new music festival that offers a
multicultural venue for ambitious young musicians and their fresh ideas –
breaking boundaries between musical genres and nations. The festival takes place
simultaneously at prominent venues in Helsinki and St. Petersburg with participants from Finland, Russia, The United States, France, Canada and Germany.

7.2.2012 Close Encounters ended in a form of a warm and great festival party. WE have had the chance to listen to Close Encounters Songbook Vol. 1. The songs are very fresh, insightful. We are sad, because of our new friend’s departure. Let’s keep in touch in Facebook!
